A good friend of mine from Louisiana, who is in the Air Force, has been sent on a tour of duty (I hope that is the correct terminology). It makes me proud to have a friend serving our country. It is definitely something I am appreciative of and I just want to say thanks to all serving in the Armed Forces.

I will be checking up on his family while he is gone - even though I haven't stayed in touch like I should have before he left.
