This past weekend we got our copy of Mac OS X Panther (10.3) and let
me say it is slick. Suzanne and I can now have our own desktop and
setup. I find myself using Expose quite often and I have even made
a corner by my screen activate it. Overall, Panther seems to be a
little peppier than Jaguar (10.2.8).
I am still working out some sharing issues. I was able to share our
iTunes library between Suzanne and I, but I haven't got the iPhotos
library shared yet. This shouldn't be hard, but I haven't done it.

Add the Date to the Menu Bar
This was a hint that I had been looking for. I found myself from time
to time looking at the menu bar to see what the current date is. It
wasn't there and I didn't see anything in the setup to turn it on.
Someone figured it out and posted it here:

Great little trick if you were looking for that.
UNC's First Two Games
UNC looked pretty good in their first two games with Roy Williams as the head coach. It is basically the same team as last year, but a healthy May in the middle. Should be an interesting year, but maybe not "national championship" caliber team. I guess we have to wait and see.
